A big thanks to those veterans who have responded to the callout on this forum and other places in considering making Baker Aviation a landing spot for your transitioin from military to civilian.

Baker has filled all but one of the training slots we have for 2024 (persons who are separating effective Nov '24 -Mar '25 approximately) who are coming on for a 4-6 month Skillbridge employment with Baker Aviation. Persons being interviewed currently are those persons who are eligible to separate/retire beginnin in May '25 and beyond.

Things can change and we have seen SB applicants forced to move their start date with Baker a month or so due to circumstances beyond their control or ours. We get that. Accommodating those changes can be difficult due to set sim schedules at Flight Safety but we have been able to make things work generally as long as the SB applicant keeps our HR person in the loop.

Summary:

If you are retiring in 2Q25 - 4Q25, contact Baker Aviation at [email protected] to learn more. We may hold off interviewing you during the summer as other projects are in the works. We are further ahead in filling slots than ever before but we don't want to take for granted those who like to plan ahead for finding a good landing spot well in advance.
