So let me get this right…

As soon as I saw the video, I knew the USAF would hang these kids out to dry. I've even considered organizing a GoFundMe campaign for their defense because they're going to need it.

Like jaxsurf said, save it until they charge somebody because I really don't think they will.

The camel's nose was under the tent years ago when every engagement was followed by a 15-6 investigation. Imagine Dick Winters' boys dealing with a legal debriefing each and every engagement that they pulled the trigger. Absolute BS. You either back your men and women on the front line or you don't. It is damn well clear what the answer is.

Another attempt to transform an alien universe into OH fails. Blood & treasure spent over 20 years, 4 admins. Good must come from this but how much given the look back? 20 years ahead we may start to know. War is like that. Clear the crew quickly. Pin ribbons, sign leaves with rank bumps all around. "Because its judgement that defeats us." https://youtu.be/COZPAa817xY

That. Because once some higher up decides to burnish his ‘woke’ Credentials and piously laments that ‘they wouldn’t have done that if it had been a crowd of Americans surrounding the aircraft’ these people are screwed. Careerwise if not actually criminally charged.

The photos of the Afghan commercial aircraft with people sitting on top of the fuselage reminds me. In developing countries, where trains are packed and they travel less than 15 mph, people ride on top of the cars. That is an everyday occurrence. If you have no concept of airplanes and their speed, you could assume they are just like trains. Ride on top, ride on any surface you can sit or stand. It should not be a problem.

Or, put out the statement: "We spend years assessing and training our service members while continuously holding them to high standards and fully expect that they continued to perform in a manner befitting the high trust we place in them daily. Combat operations are difficult, dynamic and often heart breaking. We know they made every effort in seeking the best possible outcome given an horrific situation."
