if you got a NOR with a number saying your eligible then your good to go! the rest of us that have not heard anything its because they are not sending anything out.

the only NOR you will get will be (if you have not got one yet) will be notice that you did not qualify.

sorry if this makes no sense. they changed the process part way through the announcement. its in there just look for it.

this is what i got out it
"All assessments are pass/fail and applicants must pass all 3 assessments in order to remain in consideration for selection. Applicants will be notified of their final eligibility status through a Notice of Results (NOR) once all assessment results have been forwarded from Oklahoma City to the Minneapolis Hiring Center. Applicants rated eligible after the assessments will receive a NOR that states: "You have passed all three assessments. The Office of Air & Marine is in the process of making selections from the list of qualified applicants. Once selections have been made, you will receive a disposition letter." Applicants rated ineligible after the assessments will be notified which assessment(s) they failed."

You're mixing apples & oranges. The pass/fail refers to the interview process at NATC - oral, flight test, HR panel. Getting an interview is still based on your scored app, just like every other job in the G.

I called the number listed in Application Manager under the announcement (612)467-7027x4. The person I talked to said if you send them an e-mail they can send you your results. Other than that you will not get your NOR unless they contact you for an interview. I E-mailed them and got mine in about 20 minutes.
90 without any Veterans Preference points. Not sure if I'll get an interview.

Plus you get points for being a vet. Interviews were in OKC this past Jan-Feb. Great job overall but was given an airline class date before my offer came through. They fly everything from 206's to Blackhawks to Citations and P-3's(airframes vary for location to location)...I think I would have enjoyed it but it's hard to pass up the pay and time off at Brown over a career.

I'm currently working out of NAS Jacksonville and next to the CBP hangar. They have quite a few CHETs on the line.

Piper PA-42 Cheyenne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Customs High Endurance Tracker (CHET) , special surveillance version of the Cheyenne III, fitted with an AN/APG-66 radar and a ventral FLIR; nine built for the US Drug Enforcement Administration."

Good luck to whomever gets hired. It looks like a great job and from the few that I know who have gotten the job, it is rewarding work.

Time for rumor control. Is it true that the age restrictions were lifted basically making the job available to those who have retired from the military now?

True. However, the application of the ruling as policy is still being felt out. It may be that you can add your years of service to 40 and that is your max age.

Or, more complex, it may be that you can only add active service over the age of 40 to the cutoff age of 40 to get your max age.

Fairly dynamic rule right now.

Huh? That would mean you'd have to get hired the same year you retired, and before your birthday that year.

I like the other interpretation much better...Means I'm good to 64
