They called me with a tentative offer in mid July and they sent the paperwork shortly after. (approx. two weeks) I believe the Investigator came to my house for the interview in late August or early Sept..

Anybody that's been to FLETC for AIA training, I have a question. Is the 1.5 mile test on a treadmill or is it outside? Is it solo or in a group setting. Can't seem to find that information. Thanks!

Thanks again, can't wait to wear the patch. Where are you stationed?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that doesn't get along well with a Treadmill. I can only do about a mile and then I'm falling all over my self, running to far forward, falling back, bouncing from side to side, and in general making a fool of my self.
1630-1700 is max time for 2.0 miles in the Army, and that is a slow run. Should be no problem for most to beat that 16:30 if they work out 3-4 times a week for about a month before hand.

If you are unavailable when they want to you to interview, how flexible are they in accomodating your schedule. For example if you miss the big interview push due to uncle sam will they just roll you to the next round a few months down the road?

I would like to ask the opinion of you guys and girls on this site. I was hired by Continental in March, but not given a class date. Then all the problems with the fuel and economy hit and we obviously weren't brought aboard yet. I received an email from CAL recruiting today stating that they hope to start hiring in late 09. We wouldn't have to do the sim again but would have to come in for a "refresher" meeting. While waiting for the CAL job to come through, I got the job offer flying for Customs and Border Protection. I accepted the job as some of you know, but I have that little voice saying "take the CAL job." Your "what would you do" opinions would be appreciated. Thanks for any constructive opinions.
