Hey USMCFLYR, well it sounds like he got the job. Congrats to him. I am still wading around in the pool with other FW guys. I got another offer for Sierra Vista, AZ and I didn't get to call back in time to accept the position. I am confident that more will be coming, but when I don't know. I have been reading the forums less, because I found myself obsessing over the job and when it was going to happen. I figure it will happen when it is supposed to. Talk to you soon...

Hey guys.

I was wondering what the general feel is right now in the industry about the border patrol when it comes to pilots.

I know it's a silly question because this thread has been up for some time. Since my job security at my current regional is spiraling down like you know what in a toilet, I've been becoming more interested in the BP. I found an application for pilots that's been out since Feb 08' and will be closing in Feb 09. I was curious on how long the process currently is from completing the application process to selection to your training date? Also, how are the base assignments going? Is everyone generally getting what they are applying for, or are some locations tougher then others.

Thanks fellas, and good luck on your application process.

Can anybody on here who got an interview, phone call, etc. tell me what sort of application scores are getting interviewed. Mine scored a 90 and was wondering if that is going to be good enough to get the call?

Some of the people I know that are getting calls are scoring just over 100 I think. All prior military guys.
