- It's interesting that you were able to recruit for the last 3 years. However, that was then, this is now. Pilots WILL NOT come to a company that pays HALF, HALF of what the other companies pay. That's not even taking insurance issues into account.
- The pilot shortage was NOT created by the government. That is laughable. Own what you created. Pilots will not invest well over $100K to work for $20K per year. They just won't. It's not rocket science. It's LOGICAL.
- Growth? Do you really think the majors think you can staff your airline when there are 20+ other regional airlines competing for the same pilots and paying twice as much?
- Also, because I'm A LOGICAL PILOT, I understand that
Beter pay rates and work rules = a Better PAYCHECK

Fellow Pilots:
- This is your answer. Mesa doesn't have any intention to compete with the other regionals.
- Make your career decisions accordingly.

What do you expect? Mesa has always been on the bottom of the barrel of the regionals, yea they had a quick upgrade but that was all they ever had going for them. If you knew this when you signed up then you have nothing to complain about. This is what you get when people chase a quick upgrade and disregard crappy pay and work rules. STOP GOING TO PLACES LIKE MESA. That is the only way things will ever change.

Sure thing buddy. I'm offering help without even asking guys to let me refer them. I've already talked to several via PM and a couple on the phone. Some have already applied and I'm still being as helpful as I can knowing I'm not getting a referral bonus. Perhaps I would genuinely like to see you guys move on to something better.
