I've heard a lot of people don't make it past the computer firewall because of unknown to them errors on their application. Yet again, pay some money to a service that makes sure your application is perfect. For instance, if you didn't update your medical on a submitted app, and it's been more than 6 months / year, your app is downgraded into the disqualified pile.
When you think you can't bend over any more, this industry finds a way to make you!

Last time I checked a medical was required to go to work for them. People lose their medicals when they go in to renew. it happens.

Another one for Delta Airlines, don't ever write "Delta Air Lines", it's two words, not three. That will disqualify you for at least a year. They can go sit on a stick and rotate.
Absolutely no gaps on your resume, must account for all times since High school.
It is a full time job trying to move up, and all the petty crap involved. Yes, a flow would be a nice.

This company has never used a conference call to announce anything of substance ever. This call is something more like an airing of grievances--the King and his men will give the peasants an opportunity to vent their frustrations, and make vague predictions of good fortune "in the months ahead" in an attempt to prevent the peasants from revolting and/or migrating to a rival kingdom

I highly doubt any real news will be announced--the function of that call is an urgent attempt at damage control.

It's Delta Air Lines (3 words), just in case you still have an app in there. That isn't unique to delta, though. If you write JetBlue Airlines or Jet Blue Airways or something that isn't their method of spelling their brand name, it shows a lack of attention to detail and lack of caring for the particulars about the company you supposedly want to end up at.

No, you're not understanding my post. The computer system automatically treats your medical as invalid the day it expires, throwing your application in the disqualified pile, so you must keep the app updated.
