We're a publicly traded company we have the duty to do right not only by the pilots, but by our shareholders. The company compensates us well compared to other jobs, trust me I've had another career. I suggest you look up what capitalism is.

The average American salary is 56k a year, most of us make at least that. I've worked for numerous companies that that made us provide our own hotels and transportation on the road. Add in the flight benefits, incalculable thousands of extra compensation. All things considered you new guys got nothing to complain about IMO

Cool, pay for your own hotels and return 50% of your paycheck back to the company. Its the right thing to do

What you’re forgetting is this is not a full time career for all of us. A lot of us are retired and came to Mesa to live out a dream. While I’m grateful for all the great pilots we have, I wish there would be some more appreciation towards the company. They gave us the best job we could ever ask for.

I think you're missing the point. He asked what I thought well compensated is, I explained. I'm saying that we have it pretty good relative to other jobs/careers, just because you're salty does't mean the rest of us can't be thankful for the what Mesa provides us.
