Planes are being rapidly repaired via gps units with older software.

Side note.. I always hit the toga buttons when cleared onto the runway to get the FD up, I hit it again when lined up and cleared for takeoff.
Hitting toga before lined up on the end of the runway tells the plane you are on runway heading at the end of the runway. You are neither

When Chuck Norris hits TOGA, the runway moves into position.

Thanks, I hit it again when we are lined up. Question... are we still able to do RNAV approaches? Im guessing no, but haven’t seen it addressed in any communications.

Read the EMAIL from Kevin Wilson but more importantly LOOK at the MEL. We cannot do RNAV1 or RNAV2 type arrivals/departures nor can we do GPS approaches. If it says RNAV(GPS) you cannot do it. There are a few planes still in use that have no GPS but they are being rapidly repaired. Charts plus has RNAV1 or RNAV2 in a box, Jepps have that as a note on the SID/STAR.

That's only if the system is MEL'd. No MEL. No restrictions
