Cool thanks, that's pretty similar to what I've been flying when on reserve at YX, except for airport standby reserve which we don't have. How about reserve day utilization? Out of ~4.5 months on reserve in two bases I was not used on just 4 days; two of those being the final day of a sequence. Excluding several individual days of out-of-base reserve where I wasn't reassigned, so that somewhat counts as not being used. Any differences between equipment and/or domicile?

How can you be on reserve for 4+ months? A very junior Captain would be on reserve that long here.

Here on reserve, you get the days you bid.

I don’t mind it. I live in base, always have, and (I sure hope) always will. 4.5 months of reserve split between my new hire base (1.5 months), and IAH most recently (3 months should be the end of reserve here).

None. Pretty mundane. I was hoping they would have had meaningful news on the CPA extension negotiations.

Only 20 pilots called in and only 6 questions. They really had to try hard to get people just to ask anything.

Then why didn't you ask the question?

The signed United-Mesa CPA is published on the SEC website in its entirety. It’s out there showing all CRJ700’s and some Ejets scheduled to roll off the CPA in 2019.

I figured why it wasn’t discussed is our union is in the dark, or it would have been offered up.

Maybe, you should ask pilots to submit their questions in advance. And, publicize the topics to be discussed. More people will dial in if there is meaningful information to be shared.

There were several of us in the crew room that were listening with an iPhone on speaker.

I completely forgot about it. By the time I called in it was over. That’s actually not a bad idea to pre submit some questions.
