All I know is you are an FO at Xjet, that is jeolous of the guys at Mesa flying the routes we do and upgrading quickly. Meanwhile, Xjet flies to Lake Charles in 50 seaters.
The stats will be coming out from United soon and I bet Mesa will have passed Xjet as the largest regional for United at IAH. We added Ejets last year. How many 145’s did Xjet add? (No, they ended up at CommutAir).
Good luck flying 200’s, all while being lied to by your management about the 175’s.

Wrong on every quote above. Like I've told you. Keep learning.

Bye, keep dreaming of flying 175’s. Guarantee if they are flown for SGU, they won’t be with Xjet. You are a FO recruiter for Xjet. 25, maybe 30. We just need to look at your post history. Either you are looking for a job, or attacking other regionals or singing Xjet’s praises.

I can confirm that XJT does indeed fly to LCH.
I have also personally seen former XJT birds operated by TSA and CommutAir.
It is also indeed a fact that Mesa has a faster upgrade time than XJT.
These are irrefutable facts. Don’t be a snowflake.

OMG you guys are killing us.
Why in hell are you all beating each other up over this stuff. Flying for the regionals sucks. That’s why damned near every swingin d1€§ in them is trying to move up and out as soon as possible. They ALL suck. To varying degrees, yes. But they all suck bad enough to the point where it makes no sense to fight over who has it worse. If you’re one of the very small percentage that actually likes it where you are, then great. But don’t take that as a reason to brow-beat someone at another because, brother, we ALL know that you don’t have it THAT good.

Now, they have CRJ200 flying after SGU moved them off of the ASA flying back to SKW, and found that United would take them off of SKW’s hands. And, now, this promise of the 175’s.
It is obvious United’s management has a special place in their hearts for XJet because of their long ties. I always thought Xjet would have a shot at the E175SC flying if SGU would give them a chance. But, that really isn’t Xjet’s recruiters’ purpose in commenting over here.
We don’t have it that good. Sure, an FO can make 60 or 70k here if they have no life. But, if QOL was what drives someone, they should find it hard pressed to come here, unless they will: 1) live in base 2) want to fly like crazy, upgrade fast, move on fast and make decent money while doing it, or 3) they have busted out of another program. (Although everyone is taking people who bust out of other programs these days).
If SkyWest has a base in Texas on the 175, I would be gone. I want better QOL. I want to be able to drop a trip when I need to. But, I also don’t want to change to the CRJ or 145 to do it. (Sorry, CRJ and 145 guys. I just don’t like old airplanes).

Hou757 is a jackass, however, like the flat Earth people. Everything Calmwinds said was indeed true, but since Hou757 hates Mesa, all he can say is, “keep learning, wrong on every quote.” He can’t actually substantiate anything or tell us how or why Calmwinds is wrong.

In the last few months, it was the union dropping hints here and there. But last night this changed.
It’s still not a guarantee, however. There is a pretty big contingency attached to it.

I have to chuckle at this... The oldest 900 at Mesa is what? 13 years old? Even the brand new 900 nextgens when I was there only took a couple months of neglect to be dirty in the cockpit. There are 777's in the world flying that are much older than anything in Mesa's fleet except maybe Casper???
Let alone the 747-400's I fly, one of which was the last -400 off the assembly line.
I love old airplanes, but the point I want to make is that it isn't about the airplanes age, it's about the maintenance. We have a ride on mechanic assigned to a specific tail, and he knows that individual tail better than anyone. When ever anything pops up, we have his expertise on board, and things always get fixed asap. A 20+ year old 747 somehow seems newer than a neglected RJ that is purposely having its wheels flown off.
My memories of the 700/900 at Mesa are very fond memories. They are a true pilots airplane that will let you do anything including full flaps and spoilers at the same time. Responsive, great power, fun to fly, especially from the left seat.
Haven't flown the 175, but almost everyone that has made the transition over to it from the CRJ have told me that they miss the 700/900.
And chances are, when you move out of the regionals, you'll be flying a much older airplane.
