Regionals have CPA’s up for renewal all the time. You crack me up. We do have 20 700’s coming up for renewal (4 per month over 5 months) and 30 175’s coming up for renewal (2 per month over 15 months).
There is no one at United, other than the United pilot union, saying the CPA’s won’t be renewed. (They want to bring all 175 flying in-house, including SkyWest’s and Republic’s). In fact, we have a very similar email about Mesa getting the 25 175’s as Xjet just received from its management. I don’t believe that email either.

All I know is you are a jerk. I can never recommend that anyone ever go to Xjet. Skywest, on the other hand, I would go to if they had 175’s in Texas and i didn’t have to commute to Chicago.

Here is what I know about SkyWest. They have never declared bankruptcy. They have never furloughed a pilot. They have great bases, a lousy upgrade timeframe, and their pilots are ****ed off about the pay they are making comparatively to Republic and Endeavor. So, yes, if they had 175’s in Texas, with their pay match program and signing bonus, I would be over there instead. Their pilots are sought by Southwest and other majors in huge numbers.

All I know is you are an FO at Xjet, that is jeolous of the guys at Mesa flying the routes we do and upgrading quickly. Meanwhile, Xjet flies to Lake Charles in 50 seaters.
The stats will be coming out from United soon and I bet Mesa will have passed Xjet as the largest regional for United at IAH. We added Ejets last year. How many 145’s did Xjet add? (No, they ended up at CommutAir).
Good luck flying 200’s, all while being lied to by your management about the 175’s.
