Which jet and what base?

The CRJ has generally been under a year for the bid to go through - but that is base dependent.

The Ejet was at 21 months and dropped suddenly to 13 months last month. I can’t see the Ejet upgrade staying that low, but the 13 month upgrade was likely because pilots didn’t have their standing bid with 2 recommendations submitted. Check back at the end of July.

You failed to say when this jumpseater rode with you.... As MAGPBS said, routes move from regional to regional. A couple of months ago we were flying IAH-DSM, then we weren’t and now we are.

The only time when a real increase in flying can happen is when Republic has more jets under United colors. Otherwise, all Republic is doing is using excess capacity of their existing fleet.

You just don’t know what you are talking about. And, if Mesa jumpseaters are telling you this recently, they don’t know what they are talking about.

And with that excess capacity they are doing more of your flying. Has nothing to do with scope! I really don't care if you believe me or not I'm just relaying what your pilots have stated to us. I believe them more than I do what you say on here! Adios..

Thanks for the info. Mostly interested in CRJ at IAD. Is that fairly junior?

It has been junior. I am not exactly sure what the CPP will do to IAD as far as pilots bidding over from other bases.

You simply don’t know what you are talking about. To do more of our flying would mean our flying would be going down. Not happening.

Republic flies through Denver. Does that mean Republic is taking SkyWest’s flying too?

Is the CPP only valid for IAD pilots?

It is only valid for IAD and IAH pilots that have been there for the last 12 months.

IAD is actually senior for captains thanks to CLT closing a few years ago. You’ll probably be able to hold it as a reserve after you upgrade.

Line info based on July bid.

Most junior Captain hire date by base:
IAD - October 2017 (takes over 4 years seniority to hold a line)
DFW - June 2017 (takes over 2 years seniority to hold a line)
SDF - October 2017 (all pilots have a line)
PHX - June 2016 (new pilots hold a line)

IAH - June 2016 (takes over 2 years seniority to hold a line)

IAD and SDF are presently the most junior bases for Captains from junior hire perspective. PHX and IAH are presently the most senior bases for Captains.
