Was the reroute for weather unforeseen? If the reroute could be reasonably predicted, Mesa and you just violated Part 117.
For example, we are routinely routed directly through weather by dispatch rather than safely away from weather. If your weather and reroute could be foreseen, then the extension is not allowed by the FAA.
More than likely, you will hear nothing from anyone on this. What is more sad is that we have come to the point where Mesa is sending out a pilot that might exceed block time limits in the first place.
I would still file an ASAP report. I would bet the dispatcher is filing his.

The block time limits are hard limits and only unpredictable and unforeseen circumstances allows an overage.

I meant I was averaging 92 this calendar year or 2018. I’m at just under 300 hrs after 4 months or average of 80 so well within 1,000 in 365. I was hoping to average 92/month in calendar 2018 to get some time off in December 2018, but not possible now as got reserve this month and I’ll be lucky to get 76 hours.

It was a mid air Re-route by ATC about 1/2 way in then we got vectored around for traffic once to our final destination, yes it was unforeseen. I was at 100hrs in 26 days. Thanks for tip I’ll file an ASAP.

Good luck once you crack 1,000 121 hours. Crew qualifications tracks your 91 time in case you haven’t. Just email them.

Standing bid is out. 23 months to upgrade on the Ejet. 24 months to upgrade on the CRJ in SDF.
The Ejet stayed even from last month. The CRJ upgrade improved from 26 months to 24 months.
No upgrades or CA transfer awards for DFW. No new hire FO awards in DFW. DFW has become the senior base.

It may be that some junior people didn't bid?
Current most JR upgrade I saw was less than 1 year (if you have prior 121). But most cases you are eligible or SHOULD be able to bid and hold a reserve line somewhere around the 18 month mark. I was able to bid and could hold upgrade at 18 months but I let it pass because I love my QOL and can't fathom sitting on reserve again. Lol (whatever little reserve we DO have) :P

I doubt it will be necessary. If the trends continue at Mesa, the more junior Mesa pilots will figure out to make that leap on their own. There could be a real S#itstorm in the making in IAH and, quite possibly, the entire UA side of Mesa when UA begins to move on replacing the 700 flying out of IAD as well.

I don't think it's that high?

In a few months, what FO is really going to care if a junior CA was awarded at 23 or 24 months, if the upgrades disappear or slow down significantly?
The rumors out there of losing ships are killing morale. FO’s are looking to jump ship to Republic for IAH - even though Republic’s upgrades in IAH are 5+ years. The 5+ years made the decision for me and I am not even considering Republic any longer. I will sink or swim here until I have my 1,000 121 time.

That’s right - which is why the rumor of ATL being started to prevent the bid over in IAD. By the way, SkyWest just started ramping up flights in and out of IAD for some small communities. We will have competition when the 700’s come off contract.

Hopefully United will start sucking up IAH based E175 FO’s to staff these 100 seat birds.

Hope to get my line back in April, reserve brutal, but got sent to Dulles to sit reserve for a few days. Guess for weather and spring break crush. Spoke to a Ethiopian Airlines Flight Attendent as they walked in hotel I’m at. 14 hour flight she said, can’t imagine being On that.
