Does Mesa require TSO headsets?
If they do and you don’t have one... does anybody check or care?

It is a requirement for Mesa. However, I own a Bose with a UFlyMike, and none ever had asked to verify it.

It's clearly stated in the GOM.

For the first time since I have been tracking, the CRJ upgrades were longer than the Ejet upgrades.

This month CRJ upgrades stand at 26 months - so much for 8 month upgrades that we recently experienced. Ejets upgrades creeped up another month from 22 to 23 months.

A conspiracy theory is that Mesa only upgraded about half this month as they have been recently. That could be also due to the backlog in training. If they upgrade more people then it takes them off the line and places them in a hotel room or at home.

If that is the case its a smart move as it lets them keep coverage on the line while catching up in the training dept.

I tend to agree. They need every pilot flying on the Ejet side. And, taking an Ejet FO offline doesn’t make sense at this point until we can get FO’s through the training pipeline.

We also haven’t even gotten the last Ejet out of conformity and maintenance, and onto the line yet. This appears to be a stalling tactic with United to me, wanting to get more pilots on the line before adding aircraft.

Attrition is down on the Ejet side. I know of no one in IAH that made the jump to a major last month.

With the latest Ejet seniority list (some of these guys are in training or otherwise not flying the line), we are down to 256 CA’s from 263. We are up to 316 FO’s from 294.

On the CA side, Global Seniority numbers moved up only 9. For the FO’s, they moved up only 21.
