Nothing. Phx is slowly turning into a regional hub. Mainline drawing down. That was written on the wall when aa/us/aw merged.

AA is shifting flying from mainline to Mesa.

Wasn't this a MX only base? I can't find any announcement of a crew base opening in PHX.

Compass was awarded 20 175's in 2014 by AAL without a mention of base or timing. Based on the Compass thread, it looks like PHX.

HEAR HEAR!!!! The main culprits to this piece of ****e are, in no certain order: AH, CG, NT, MW.

Well, I'm not sure how much CG or NT had to do with this contract. NT of course voted yes on it, so he is part of it being approved. And really, I think CG was just along for the ride.

AH and MW though are both responsible, which should also include MT. AH said we would have an industry average contract, and we certainly don't. But it was brought before the pilots like it was, which is a definite lie. And MW definitely sold it.

So, where do we go from here? There will be new (or not) MEC officers voted on next spring. Maybe we can get new blood in there that has a higher standard for our pilots. Or, it will be business as usual with the same players.

Hoping for the best....

Sucks for you, then. Here in DFW, that has not been the norm.
