And on the eighth day JO said "Let there be EJETS!" And Ejets there were. The upgrades flowed like the happy hour boxed wine at the Guesthouse suites in ELP, and those who partook in the sweet nectar of the aviation gods were able to move out of their parent's basement and live in the actual house with everyone else.
And JO saw that this was good and rewarded the faithful by paying for KCM and raising DH pay to 62.5 percent, and then he rode off into the sunset with his millions...

For someone who lives near IAH or one of the bases, Mesa might make sense. In base QOL is important. Flying an advance jet appeals to some. And, others just don't want to interview or don't interview well.
I have found the Mesa pilots to be professional group.
I recently jumped on two different Southwest flights. On one, the SWA CA made two pretty serious mistakes that would not have had good outcomes had the FO not caught the mistakes. On another, the pilots chit-chatted all the way to touchdown. Now, I could go over to the SWA forum and bad mouth their company and pilots as well. But, that would make me a troll.

There are trolls on all forums. This regional does have the reputation as a bottom feeder (see Sully's latest quote) and draws more than it's fair share. Some would like to see Mesa fail.

This is the laziest load of crap I have ever heard in my life. You're willing to accept the lowest pay in the industry because you don't want to interview? Seriously? What other professional in any other industry can be taken seriously after making such an idiotic claim?

Well, ya. Not because they want you personally to fail, but because we live in a system of pattern bargaining and Mesa has always dragged that pattern in the wrong direction. Personally, I was really hoping Mesa would get an industry leading contract like Republic did recently to raise the bar, but here we are.
Did you just seriously try to use SJS as a defense for Mesa?

And??? You've never made a mistake that was later rectified by the other pilot? Making errors is human, and is to be expected. It's why we have the procedures, policies, and systems in place to trap errors and mitigate risks. To go on the SWA Forum after they gave you a free ride to work and make some odd attempt at shaming the crew wouldn't make you a troll, it makes you a douche.

As far as the SWA flight, I suspect I made it on an IOE flight for the FO where no one said anything to me. A CA lining up on a closed runway for a visual just seems to be an IOE stunt.
