Listen up kids, last year I upgraded and made 47k at Mesa. Let that sink in...3 months on second year FO pay and 9 months on 3rd year CA pay and I still made south of 50k. Pathetic.
Vote this POS down, put Mesa in the rear view mirror, and don't look back. You'll thank me later.

If they all suck on the same level then you might as well get paid more.

Huh? I made just shy of $80k (with per diem) my first full year as a captain at Mesa. Staying at Mesa works just fine for me at the moment. I'm not sure why my staying needs to be subject to a barrage of 'no' votes or sabotage of the company. Is your ego so big that simply resigning isn't enough?
The company will be there regardless of the outcome of the vote. Besides, this contract does nothing to improve our attractiveness to our peers in the industry. What is it about this contract that is so special its going to suddenly fix Mesa's issues? Answer that.

At what longevity? I barely made $65k as a 4th year captain.
I'm not bragging. Just for some perspective (I checked my W2), I made 93K on year 3 Captain pay at SkyWest.... in 2007. I was on reserve for 4 months and a line holder in SLC for 8 months.
This is FACT. I feel sorry for you guys. Mesa is a shelter for battered pilots.

Saying all regionals suck is just not true and not my experience at all. One example is commuting. At Mesa, commuting to work was uncertain. Working for a wholly owned AA regional I'm on the same level as a 777 Capt. I see Mesa guys sitting at the gate but I'm getting on. I could list several other examples. Some small differences and some significant. You want to compare health insurance benefits? Let the numbers speak for themselves. My wife just flew ATL to LAX... First Class. Happens fairly often. AAG gave every employee 2 positive space tickets anywhere in the world they fly as a token of appreciation for the ATW award. I'm saying all this to give you a few examples that your comment is just not true. You deserve better than anything JO will cobble together. Moving on is not right for everyone but an excellent choice for many.
Yeah. But, but, but......at Mesa you can upgrade to Captain really quick man!!!!
