When I left they took the amount I owed out of my last paycheck. It was not enough to pursue legal action over but I was disappointed that they never provided me with a copy of the training contract that I signed. I just wish they would have given me a chance to pay it back on my own terms versus wage garnishment. I was prepared to show up at the crystal palace with $xxx in pennies just to be a giant inconvenience to them, but still be legal per the "contract."

Anyone else not get their final pay statement
Honestly I'm not sure what they did. My final check was direct deposited but by that time I was deactivated in ADP so I've never seen my final pay stub. I want to say it was about $1k from what I could figure.

My new employer uses ADP as well. I was surprised to see all of my Mesa pay stubs with my new employers login.

that's not a court ordered garnishment. not sure why they withheld money from you. by law your check is your money. sounds like another thing is going on here.

When you sign the training contract you agree they can take the money from your paycheck. It's one of the clauses in the contract.

Call in sick, lose $1000. That's an awfully large amount of money to pass up on those days when you're feeling a little too tired, fatigued, not quite right, etc. Might as well just fly sick and cash in, right Mesa?
Also, if you do have an absence, doesn't your continued attendance for the rest of the month contribute to the base's overall percentage? Then why do you lose both bonuses?

I am shocked about fatigue. I wonder if the FAA knows that Mesa penalizes a crewmember who is fatigued. A lot of things can contribute to fatigue, such as an emergency experienced earlier in the day. The thought that a significant amount of income is penalized is unconsciousable. It goes to the management mindset that pilots use fatigue as an excuse, rather than using fatigue as a method to keep the safety of the passengers as their highest priority.

I don't remember that but it's probable. It's not a secret document, I asked for a copy and my whole upgrade class got one to take home.

The pay rates aren't that bad if you consider the removal of soft pay/base pay. Other than that the TA is not really what I wanted. We could have improvements in; insurance, medical reimbursement, better defined hotel language, commuter hotels, 12 days off guaranteed, duty rigs, at least 75% DH, 1.90 per diem, international override pay, and I could go on and on.
