How have the class sizes been doing for the past 6 months or so?

There absolutely is a contract for the signing bonus. It requires repayment of the signing bonus on a prorated basis if you leave before two years after IOE.

Is there any regional not requiring a repayment of the signing bonus?

Yes. Some people are doing exactly that. I'm not saying it makes sense, that's just what's happening right now.

Because I've posted 6 times.

That's what I hear they used to have. They haven't been giving it out anymore as far as I know.

I went through training in the past year, went through IOE and received a bonus. No contract signed at any given time. Recruiter even said there wasn't a contract. There are people in my class who were going there for bonus and currency and gtfo. Maybe it's changed back to a contract with this recent 30k bonus, but they're desperate enough to not want to deter people away with a training contract.

So now, suddenly, you're not that sure anymore, huh?

I'm in training right now, so the 2 classes before me plus the last one signed a note for a 24 month commitment.

And that also holds true for the upgrade classes (12 month commitment).

News to me. They must've just started that with the 30k bonus because they weren't doing that earlier in the year. Did you sign it? Good luck though!

HR was very clear on that: "No sign? Go home!"

Have a buddy who just upgraded there a month or two ago. No contract. Stayed on the same equipment but said those who switched didn't either.
