I am with you. Something is not right. JO has ""NEVER"" given the pilots what they wanted. Never will. There is more to this. Just remember how many times you have gotten your hopes up only to get them crushed. I am not sure Mesa can file bankruptcy so soon again. You need money for it. If he is headed that way it would be to liquidate...and blame it on the pilots. That sounds more like JO.
Plan on incremental, 2-3 year ramp up, lots of giving with one hand, taking back with the other hand, juke left, deek right, some slight of hand and there you have it, a new contract. For FO's the killer element of a new contract will be the one allowing CRJ CA's to transition to the E-Jet. FO's will not see an upgrade for a very long time. From all you know and have experienced, does anyone really expect a good contract? I hope you all get it. Perhaps I bailed too soon, but I doubt it.
Consider:
Who is at the head of the table with mesa?
Who is at the head of the table with the union?
What is the nature of both?
What is the track record of both?
What do you think the outcome will be?
After all is said and done, do you current FO's think your income/QOL will be better with a new contract, or better if you move on?

I'd rather just set the cockpit up the right way for the said flight.

AH sent you an email several weeks ago telling you what was coming.

Everything is in Phoenix. Indoc is a week and systems are 2 weeks. In systems you will get a very though knowledge of the CRJ which is the plane I choose. Afterwards you will have the sim which is 8 lessons but if you need an extra you will get it. From the people in my class we all had one extra but some needed two so in 8-9 sims you will be ready for the sim evaluation. The instruction in my opinion is top notch. Ask plenty of questions and study and you will be fine. The ones who did poorly were the ones who went to the bar every night. I prefer not to disclose where we stay on a public site but it's a decent hotel. You will learn a lot in training and for me personally I thought it was great. As far as hotel you will get your own room, onsite Landry and a pool. No regrets on my end.

To clarify, my comment wasn't intended to be negative towards you, or your post.
What I'm saying is that company would cost the ability to bid crj-erj as a high-dollar item among negotiating items. If a lot of folks thought THAT was important enough as to forego more/better improvements elsewhere in a potential agreement, it would be stupid in my opinion.

Didn't read anything about MX issue's unless I missed. Training dep seems fair.
I am just looking to get current again and max 1 year at the regionals (I might go overseas).
With the increased bonus it doesn't look too bad financially.
(Though I will look for other healthcare options)
The only question I have is if the training contract is still in force?
