I doubt it, they already have YV and SkyWest and block hours are down. Where'd you hear that?

$500 at an 80-hour line is a $6.25/hour raise. That's nice and all but I don't like that JO just gives what he wants when he wants willy nilly. This should be in a contract, not just during peak times, and even for the people who run into commuting difficulties, sickness, or upgrade. A $6.25 raise is still well short of our peers as well...

I'm honestly surprised at this Agreement. Maybe the cancellations yesterday pushed our mainline partners over the edge in telling JO to fix his staffing? Maybe Air Whiskey's new contract is too lucrative and stealing the pool of applicants? Maybe he just finally got the negotiating team to agree to something really bad, again.
I guess we'll see.
What I do know is that anything less than industry standard, or anything involving funny money - stock - is a No Vote. I hope there's consensus there.

Hope you guys don't get a good contract only to get fleeced in an impending bankruptcy. If JO knows he's going to go thru BK soon, what a time to give a market rate contract, then blame the pilot wages for causing the bankruptcy, and then demand concessions to emerge. Good luck. Hope it's a good contract and that isn't the case, but something smells fishy. You don't stagnate in negotiations after this many years and a horribly failed TA, have the NMB come in, then all of a sudden reach a TA in one or two sessions. Something seems off.

A new contract followed by bankruptcy is right out of Bryan Bedfords playbook at Republic.
