Unfortunately that is very true. If you have a family I hope your significant other has better insurance. When I was a new hire other FOs had their ENTIRE paychecks going toward premiums. That's doesn't include deductibles.

You are correct. Insurance was a $650/month savings to our family plan when I change airlines (another regional). Great plan and $550/mo now. Oh,and it can be reduced to under $500 with a wellness program.
No massive deductible, $15 co pay.
If health insurance is a factor in deciding where to work, you're probably not considering Mesa.

There are cheaper plans, but as you can probably guess, they get less supportive. If you're young and healthy, the cheap plans are fine. If not, the expensive plans are ridiculous.
