Dear Mr Selvaggio,
Thank You SO much for the uplifting Email.
DO NOT tell me or ANYONE else that WE have to step up to the plate and accept a Junior Assignment or work on a day off to cover for YOUR inept and worthless management "style"
Don't preach to me about performing at a "high level of professionalism" when the CEO of this company cavorts with new-hire flight attendants on a routine basis.
We pilots at this taco stand fly your God@&$M airplanes at a higher level of professionalism that you can ever dream of possessing.
As for "doing the job we signed up for"........why in the hell don't you practice what you preach. If you and the rest of your cohorts in upper management had any clue whatsoever, you would have figured out a year ago that you have a RETENTION issue.
F/O's, in particular, started bailing out of here because your aforementioned Boss still thinks he can get away with paying and treating people like it's 2001.
Your reference to Skywest Airlines' pilots facing the threat of furloughs is also a joke. Skywest Management has forgotten more about securing work and making money than you guys up there on the 7th floor will ever know.
Finally, with regard to your thinly veiled threat of not recommending our people for other jobs....go to hell you Jerk.
The truth is that when another company calls during their background check, you are limited, by law, to verifying Position held and dates of service. Stop trying to intimidate People with your B.S.
Goodnight Now.

Go fk yourself mister COO. Your airline is a joke- and has a massive retention issue due to your airline paying 1998 wages.
And by LAW- no airline can disclose ones use of sick calls. The mere fact this letter is now public- only further protects the outgoing Mesa pilots of your threats.
I have forwarded this letter to my airlines HR dept so they are aware of your outlandish threats.

It was a shot across the bow during mediation, clear and simple!! Trying to guilt us and somewhat threaten us regarding accepting junior man assignments etc is not a good faith gesture during this tense time. Here is a reality check for the company......
THE 1500 RULE IS THE LAW SO AJUST ACCORDINGLY OR CLOSE THE DOORS!!
No excuses!!!
