Most of UA's new hires came from Expressjet, when did they get Ejets?

I read that as we're not getting compensatin that we can use to directly improve our QOL. It'll probably be some kind of interest in the company. Didn't JO have some legal issues with the SEC? I wouldn't feel comfortable receiving any kind of stock from him. Especially since it's not a public company. Then it goes on to say that we will have investment bankers and proper advisors to make sure our interest are protected....blah, blah, blah.

In other words the MEC has given up on market rates or close to market rates for our pilots.

Like I said before. We're screwed.

Around 10 - 15 newhires per class as far as I can see.

Looks like 27 new hires in April according to the standing bid.

27 in April, 40+ in March. Clearly JO's illegal bonuses are working. Unless our mediator is sympathetic, I'm inclined to agree with squawkoff. Then again, he was a pilot in a past life, wasn't he?

History Repeats?

Fascinating, posts on APC are actually part of the injunction. There's a huge number of pilots who've never heard of this website, so the claims of Spirit management wildly over-exaggerate the influence and scope of APC forums. A dozen guys venting is suddenly mass collusion of 1500 pilots. Amazing.

That said, if it gains any traction in court, these forums are ****ed.

I think the moral of this whole story is that nobody should pick up open time ever, and that will be the status quo.

Exactly. AH is passing out the KY. He's basically indicated a willingness to go with JOs 'anything but pay' scheme. JO knows that we'll never go for it so he's using AH to bring us around. There's nothing we can do about JO but, as I said ... AH has to go.

XJT has a lot of guys who go to UAL, none of whom have E170/190 type ratings. His point is countering the troll who says an e170 type is similar to a bus type and will help him get hired at a real airline, using e145 typed guys who get hired by UAL at a disproportionately higher rate as an example.
