I cannot understand why anyone would consider Mesa or Gojet currently. Guys are upgrading at Skywest in 9 months now and they have a lot of planes on order. Airlines are asking them to take more flying.
I tell friends not to come to Gojet and a couple have not listened and now really regret it.
What good is a 30k bonus over 2 years when the pay is 20k a year less, no performance bonuses, low per diem, worthless 401k, trip rigs are a joke.

They don't. SkyWest has run out of guys willing to take the first available upgrade (DTW) AND meet the 121 requirements. The guys getting the 9 month upgrade have prior 121 time or qualifying 135 time. There are also some E175 FOs who have been bypassed for upgrade.

I've seen a lot of good high credit routes we used to do into the Midwest get taken over by Envoy's 175's leaving us with LBB, GRK, and other inefficient low credit legs. No wonder only two DFW pairings were above 19 hours this month.

No real surprise that they are going to put the 175 on the longer routes.
