There is something you're forgetting. The company is signing our checks and ultimately it's our duty to show up to work and keep the wheels moving. Has anyone considered that maybe if we give the company what they want, and help them out, they'll pass the profit down to us?

Unless, of course, you are just trolling for entertainment value. If that is the case, carry on. Troll away.

We've been over this, he's trolling. Take a look at the big old NAI 787 in his avatar and every outrageous thing he's said.
Can we get back to the part where the union just announced their ask was below industry average for the first two years? First, I'd hope very few people on this forum intend to be here in two years. Second, who knows what industry average would look like in 2019; pilots certainly won't be getting cheaper. Third, it's some of the same BS that made TA15 so pathetic; capitulating to the company's inability to conduct basic business accounting by accepting a slowly increasing pay scale that still doesn't match where a lot of other regionals were two years ago two years from now. That's insane.

I'm not even a Mesa person but this is too ridiculous to not chime in. Firstly, those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Second, a for-profit corporation has one goal, to make money. If the operation is working with less why are they going to allow it to operate for more. Because they have a kind heart? As a business owner I can tell you I love this attitude! Because it's the ignorance that keeps people showing up everyday happily working for less. You just pat them on the head and say 'great work' 'good job' and continue underpaying them. I know it makes me sound like scum, but it's my wallet first, then theirs. If you've ever owned a business or multiple businesses, you'll know immediately the only option for the pilots is to make as much waves and cause as much trouble as possible. Not suggesting anything illegal...but why do you think it's illegal in the first place? Because it works.
