Envoys projected 2.5 year upgrade is more like 6.5 Look at their standing bid. The flow is a joke.

Go jet is hiring street captains and then paying them FO pay in lovely Detroit. So if you want to go to Detroit go to Gojet.

Skywest is 3 years according to their last standing bid if upgrading on the 200.

PDT is a solid 2 year upgrade but their future is questionable. They are so ecstatic to be receiving 30 year old jets. Rumors of a merger with PSA are in the air.

Sky west is liquidating Express jet daily. You will see them go under shortly.

Air Wisconsin, great airline but their future has been unstable for 3 years. Who knows what will happen with them.

Compass and Rjet is dropping flying left and right. Compass stopped its hiring due to loosing 9 ejets.

To each their own. We all make career decisions for our own reasons.
Skywest upgrade has been less than 2 years for a while now and that is including the last award

Compass lost 6, not 9, to Republic. Yet you claim rpa is dropping flying when we are picking up 26 aircraft this year. That's a lot of misinformation from you. Can't speak for the rest of what you said but we should all be suspect.

SkyWest is less than 2 years on the CRJ and less than 3 years on the Ejet. Don't know where you are getting your facts.

ExpressJet is a different story. ExpressJet ramps down DTW; senior pilots scramble for a new base; and SkyWest ramps up DTW. The pilots at ExpressJet are pretty unhappy.

ExpressJet upgrades are 9 years. I don't think ExpressJet will "go under" in the traditional sense, but will be wound down by attrition of pilots, planes and routes.

There is no talk of merging PDT and psa

Let's see:
OO
9E
PDT
TSA
C5
PSA

These are just off the top of my head. Compass was sub-2 years and will likely be back there soon.

Theres only one CA on a flight, and he sits in the left seat. Nothing is worse than someone in the right seat acting like a CA. When its your butt in the left seat, and the guy in the right seat is looking at you for guidance, and it's you making the important decisions, then it is valuable time.

Almost none of this is correct.
On a side note. If you want to go to DTW, I would go to OO. Upgrade is 20 months and dropping. Hold a line right out of training. Likely hold a captain line right out of upgrade.

30 year old jets? You might want to check your math.

Agreed that almost none of this is correct, and most of it has been corrected for you already.

To add to the other corrections, Air Wisconsin is doing just fine and is poised for huge growth. Perhaps you missed their latest announcements.

Bottom line, for almost everyone, Mesa would not be the right choice right now.

"Picking Up 26 aircraft" is misleading. At this time last year You had 24 UA birds lined-up, you got 12. You lost 16 DL 145s you got 9 170s in return. AA dropped 9 and brought back 8. Be careful when speaking about misinformation
