It doesn't work like that...you need to get to at least 76 hours of credit to have a line. If you ask PBS to build you something that can't get you to 76 hours, it will just put you on reserve. You can't tell it you want to work less to try to get more time off...

In theory the Set Condition Min Credit should do that, but I don't know why there's not a "Prefer Maximum Days Off" option. Anyhow, it generally works (as well as your seniority allows), although on occasion it has given me min days off with really inefficient trips that just reached the 76 hour window in spite of preferring high daily credit. If a computer had a sense of humor, that might be a joke it would make.

Thanks for the input, I pretty much waived everything, and wanted the program to award trips until it reaches a minimum set by program and still hold a block, if that happens With max days off then great.if the program can't reach the min time it will not award a block at my seniority and end up on reserve. Thanks again everyone who responded.

*Unless eligible for upgrade (Based on Company Seniority and FAA Part 121 requirements)
That's an interesting fine print. If you're eligible to upgrade but choose not to, technically according to this statement you will not get the retention bonus. If you do upgrade you don't get it, either, because it's for FOs only.
How long is upgrade at Mesa right now?
