I don't work for Mesa, but I have friends there, and have been watching the airline for a few years now. (Plus I read APC, therefore I am an expert )

If you guys think sticking around will make things better and one day you will get this great industry leading contract and everything will be rainbows and unicorns, you're fooling yourselves. Just leave already and watch the implosion from afar, because it's definitely coming.

JO doesn't give a rip about negotiating a new contract. He'll hope you do
quiet so he can hire a new pilot who's just giddy to fly a new EMB
for peanuts or someone just looking to get current so he can get to mainline quicker. Sadly. But good luck

Interesting trend. We've lost nearly 100 net pilots in about half a year. That rate puts us near 1100 by the end of peak summer flying. At a very conservative 8.6 pilots/airplane, 1204 is the minimum we'll need for 140 airplanes at that point, or 1256 pilots by Q4 2017 when all E-jets have been delivered.
