I can't imagine they'd advertise 12 new Ejets as growth if they simultaneously parked 20 CRJ's.

Cant imagine JO puts a shinny object to divert out attention? Its just hard to believe United would put that faith when our pilot roster continues to shrink. The math doesn't add up.

Source? Or typical unsubstantiated rumor?

Then why would they announce that all pilots on the seniority list by 2016 could upgrade? At least that's the way I read it.

They wont park anything till the planes are on property. Simple training bubble again and then transition. Hope and pray for more business per usual.

Then what do they do with the 700 crews of the parked planes? It would seem they'd have waaayyy too many crews. If they let 700 crews bid the 175 then you might be on to something.

Look at the pilot roster. Its not going up; it would be simple just to naturally shrink.

It looks like one poster starting a rumor and then backing it up by responding to that rumor. I've heard absolutely nothing about the 700's leaving.

You could be right. I guess TPC did just agree to finance another 100 million in engine overhauls. HAHA we sure love our loans.
