Actually, when it went to arbitration the arbiter said it didn't matter if we have 100 or 0 of them. Base pay isn't tied to actually having any aircraft on the property.

So when it finally dies, we don't see a magic pay increase.

Can anyone working at mesa kind of give me an idea of what a new hire could expect? Looking to try for an IAH base and mesa seems to be the only option other than expressjet. I don't care about bonuses and have some military duties that can help make up for the low pay. Also, do they have a training contract? Do your best to give me a no bs answer. Also, how're their views towards mil leave. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Wow that's pretty sad. Does that affect pay rates too?

The one thing that you can expect is that each day you are employed at Mesa your worth to the company will diminish day by day. When you hit two years you are viewed as an expensive employee who they hope moves on.

When folks go to PHX for upgrade (that are not domiciled or upgrading in/to PHX) do the reassign you to PHX so they don't have to pay you per diem or do they pay you per diem 24 hrs/day.

No you get 24/7 per diem. Thank goodness. That would be ultra low if they did.
