That amount of incompetence seems farfetched. If it is true, seems like a legitimate Pro Stands/ASAP sort of moment.

Yes. If they're going to put dangerous people on the line, hold them accountable. Don't feel bad.

Some new guys just don't care when they screw up. No "sorry about that", no questions, no effort to improve. It's infuriating. I'm the jerk for saying, "hey, what just happened there?"

I Wish it was not true. And that was only half the story.

The reason I let him, actually I asked him to hand fly it was because his approach to landing the previous day was such a $hit show, that I just wanted to give him a chance to practice some hand-flying and perhaps gain some confidence.

I should have submitted an ASAP on it. Perhaps I still might turn one in.

must have happened extremely quick because flight trackers show no deviation of altitude or heading. and the only flight going from there to there this morning had an FO of a 53k number. might need to verify all facts before posting.

You accidentally did a 180 and accidentally descended at 2500 fpm and didn't do an asap? I have a feeling people don't understand what the asap program actually is. smh
