Back when we were flying those POS CRJ 200's, you wouldn't want to goto Green Needles /Approach Mode. Damn thing would go FMS DR on you with only the LOC tuned in.
Ahh the good ole days...8-Days off/month 3 years on reserve.

Hasn't the precedent for this already been set in court?

I think so. I've been trying to find info on Compass and I think there is another that was successful in court. Anyone have any links for successful status quo violations?

Or just use the numbers MagPBS put up a week ago.

One does not deal with taxes on bonuses. They are withheld (with no input from you), and adjusted at filing time on your 1040. So simple even a pilot can do it!!

Also, I went to a real college, and received a degree in economics, which is why I know how to deal with the taxes from bonuses.

Live in IAH and make $22.18 an hour. Commute to just about anywhere and double (or more) your money.

Hey, Lineup... he's right to question the integrity of that statement. I realize that this company has stayed aloft on the backs of Freedom A listers like yourself but it needs to stop. With attitudes like that it never will.

In all seriousness...in today's market, why would anyone voluntarily choose to go to Mesa? If you have a terrible record and can't get in anywhere else, I sort of understand. But, if you have a choice, why would you go there?

Mesa has been the bottom of the barrel for a long, long time. The bottom floor of a 2 story outhouse, with no signs of improving. Ever.

Why would someone not at Mesa be so worried about why anyone comes to Mesa? A large number of new hires are people coming back to flying who need some currency/experience or those who live in Houston but, really, nobody is coming to Mesa. The seniority list is largely lifers and those who came in the first big rush. Just a trickle now. You're worrying about a very small percentage of regional new hires.

The roster also has problems. For one thing, it is difficult to process in an automated fashion. The seniority list has problems, but it allows for much easier tracking over time.
