There are currently 300-400 FO's on the seniority list who think they'll upgrade but unfortunately Mesa is only upgrading 2-8 Captains per month to only cover for attrition.
Educate yourself and fact check my statement.
Show me your proof that there are no more aircraft forthcoming!

Even if there were, our seniority list has shown a decrease of 80 people from where we peaked maybe half a year ago. It's only going to get worse. How would we staff anything more?

Show us the PROOF (not rumor and talk) that there ARE more aircraft coming. It's real simple to prove there are no more and we've taken delivery of all ANNOUNCED aircraft. We've announced no more. We have what's been announced. Anything else is rumor and hope. Not proof.

I don't know about all of you, but I'm halfway expecting a company email to come out in the next six or so months saying we are closing our doors, with very little notice to the employees. They way things are going it really wouldn't surprise me. I hope everyone has their resumes up to date.

No where close to that level of issues. We haven't even cancelled vacations yet. Mesa's not gonna up and fold overnight.

Insufficient, careless budgeting and inadequate contract negotiations on the financial manager's part, is not something that should not be put on the employees as a burden. If you made a mistake that enormous, you fix it.

Would someone within close proximity to his office, please walk in there and tell him how ridiculous it sounds for him still to be whining about the 1500 hour rule. That ship has sailed. Get over it! Adjust to the new reality or just stop operating.

As far as dislusional or untruthful, I'm going with both.

This should leave no doubt, in anyone's mind, that it's time to implement the exit plan.

Just ask your "leader" about his F--- ups in Hawaii and how much it cost the company.

Over 400 million bucks if my memory serves correct

However a new contract with industry standard pay and work rules will never happen as long as your current MEC Chairman is at power.
Trust me on that .... neverrrrr

I was surprised JO briefly acknowledged that on the company call. Granted, "we lost a lot of money out there," not him.

I think this is being a little overly dramatic. This place will always be around in some capacity and it will always be lagging behind the rest of the industry until there is a major change both in management and our union leadership.
