And don't come in here to stir up more crap without proof. Something you like to do and ultimately end up being proven as the troller that you are.

When fast upgrades were a thing here, regionals hadn't yet started offering bonuses/raises and someone in every thread thought their regional was the "last choice", what exactly did the rest of you know that I missed 'oh insightful one'? Go make a spreadsheet with pay rates from three or four years ago, factor in a quick upgrade at Mesa and see what the five-year pay difference is between the different choices. Hope you're just trolling because only an irrational idiot would think they just "knew" how things would play out, especially for new entrants to the industry.

Better defend your thread till the end!

Proof? Just a handful (3) of guys I know who've left in the last 90 days and it's happened to.

Yet you guys continue to factor a quick upgrade into the pay comparison. Don't you fail to see how comparing your captain rates to other carrier's FO rates may be part of your problem?

Yes, it has been part of the problem. But, FINALLY a strong effort is being made to do something about that. Our position is that we will not allow for anything other than industry-competitive wages. NOTHING, including flowery talk about expansion a/o fast upgrades will be allowed to substitute for that. It would be really great if the non-Mesa folks would give up the bashing and ridicule and just support us in these efforts. The way this industry changes so fast it could easily be your pilot group under duress soon. If that were to happen, we would surely do the same for you.

THIS. On top of completely disregarding the healthcare, hotels, trip rigs and soft times available at other airlines.

And stop saying the pay was close. It wasn't. Year 2 at Skywest was what, 38-40$? Mesa's second year is still $29.

Can you please be more specific than "you guys?" Who on earth (besides the recruiters) is still spouting that this nonsense is currently true?

Do you really want me to go back and quote every person who has used this as their excuse for coming to Mesa over the years? Mesa's reputation has been the same since before I started to research the industry in 2009. Sounds like it has been the same since significantly before that. I hope you guys get things turned around. If history proves itself, that will likely not happen.

Strong, what exactly are guys doing? One tiny picket? Besides coming on here, you guys aren't doing much, and your MEC is doing even less.
