You left when the company was $h!t but it's gotten even worse. When I left what you post twas the same situation for me. However, recent departed employees atest to otherwise. You left for Skywest over a year ago now....times are different. Don't defend the actions of today's Mesa with your past experience.

When fast upgrades were a thing here, regionals hadn't yet started offering bonuses/raises and someone in every thread thought their regional was the "last choice", what exactly did the rest of you know that I missed 'oh insightful one'? Go make a spreadsheet with pay rates from three or four years ago, factor in a quick upgrade at Mesa and see what the five-year pay difference is between the different choices. Hope you're just trolling because only an irrational idiot would think they just "knew" how things would play out, especially for new entrants to the industry.

Yes, it has been part of the problem. But, FINALLY a strong effort is being made to do something about that. Our position is that we will not allow for anything other than industry-competitive wages. NOTHING, including flowery talk about expansion a/o fast upgrades will be allowed to substitute for that. It would be really great if the non-Mesa folks would give up the bashing and ridicule and just support us in these efforts. The way this industry changes so fast it could easily be your pilot group under duress soon. If that were to happen, we would surely do the same for you.

And stop saying the pay was close. It wasn't. Year 2 at Skywest was what, 38-40$? Mesa's second year is still $29.

Do you really want me to go back and quote every person who has used this as their excuse for coming to Mesa over the years? Mesa's reputation has been the same since before I started to research the industry in 2009. Sounds like it has been the same since significantly before that. I hope you guys get things turned around. If history proves itself, that will likely not happen.
