If its made up or not, it doesn't make this place any better.
I really want to know where you make this stuff up from.
We haven't had a 100% CA unstacking run in years. In fact I had to go back to June of 2015 to find a CA run unstacked above 70%. So, strike 1.
So comparing November CA #'s with Sept CA #'s (your 3 month quote).
DFW lost 8 CA.
IAD stayed the same.
IAH GAINED 14 CA.
PHX lost 1 CA.
No where close to your 40. Strike 2.
And finally all the CRJ bases have at least a 20% reserve coverage (CA side) for November so claiming where unstaffed on the Captain side is totally wrong too. Strike 3.
Now, the FO side of the house is a completely different discussion. But all your claims were for Captains.

Pilot Lounge Seniority List. Click
"To See All Domiciles"
At the top on Global seniority if there is a "0" that means they've quit.
Also, it wasn't but 2 months ago I took a snap shot of our seniority list. We had almost 1300. We are down to 1231.

Yes, the bottom of the list says 1231.
But it is incorrect. It skips numbers.
Look at number 434. The next number is 436.
Look at 472. The next number is 474.
Look at 480. The next number is 482.
The missing numbers are people who have recently quit.
So, the true number of pilots on that seniority list is 1205.
The last seniority list was 1248. (Even though it said 1258).
Difference is 43 pilots that have left. I don't know the time span though.
Out of those 43 that have left,
11 were off the top half of the list.
32 were off the bottom half of the list.
We are bleeding FOs.

I keep telling you guys to stop worrying! Mesa recruting extraordinaire Marcian Kolololdyzeyx is on the case. He stepped away from his lucrative MEC position to sit in Ornshhhtiens office and come up with excellent incentive programs to navigate top aviators to Mesa aircraft.
We all know you know them-friends, aquaintences, flight school buddies, neighbors or even the pilot you met on vacation who's ready for a change.
1-2-3 Go Mesa!

Very true. And, while offering 30K to new hires, mgt continues to show its "appreciation" to the rest of us with occasional $50 on-time bonuses, wrist watches, commuter hotels, etc. ANYTHING other than paying us a fair and reasonable wage. 'No, just keep throwing trinkets out to the masses ... that'll quiet them down.' I think JO and company have no idea of how pi$$ed off we're getting. I hope all flight crewmembers avoid those appreciation parties. Maybe mgt will begin to get the message when they're the only ones to show up. They can all go around patting each other on the back ...

Actually that could be just for that base. Example 474 is in DFW and 475 is in IAD and 476 is back in DFW. Looking at the current seniority list only elects for you to look at position, base and equipment. Now I would look at the "roster" to see actually everyone who is current and aren't on leave, finished IOE, etc. so for you to say there are gaps is not a true statement as "missing numbers" are there just in a different base, also the seniority list shows people who haven't even touched the SIM yet or started IOE. the roster is updated each month on the 16th and that shows the current flying line pilots. just saying to state thinks correctly
"To see ALL Domiciles Seniority, Click here" (At the bottom)
The numbers I stated are correct. I can list the 43 names of the people who have quit. But I won't do that on a public forum.
To reiterate my point, we are bleeding FOs. Out of the 43 that have left, 11 were off the top half of the list, 32 were off the bottom half of the list. FOs are bolting.
And it is at a rate much higher than we can attract and train new FOs. I would venture to say we are going to have a very very difficult time hiring to keep up with attrition, especially in light of the recent pay increases at Envoy, PSA, Piedmont, Endeavor, and everywhere else.
Expect the seniority list to continue to get smaller. As of today, we are at 1205.
