After being doing some research on various regional airlines, if someone can give me a good brief summary on how things are at Mesa and what can a new hire expect. I have not made a decision yet but if i do come, i would prefer the CRJ fleet for a IAD base as I am on the east coast. How easy or hard is it to get crj iad out of training. How long is reserve, how is the interview process, training environment and whom can we contact to get a interview setup. Anything anyone can provide with HONESTY as we all know no airline is perfect , but its what we can get out of it for the future. If someone can post or PM me with the info. Thank you.
If he's unavailable call back and ask to be connected to JO himself there's a good chance Marcian is in JO's office with his feet up letting him know there's no pilot shortage and everything will be just fine.
Go Mesa!

Call 602-685-4000 and ask for head of recruting Marcian Kololodzydexz. You'll get a class date within about 10-12 minutes. However, I could be wrong as Marcian himself said on the last company call Mesa isn't a "golden ticket" anymore and an EXTENSIVE Skype interview will be preformed due to the competitive nature and large amount of applicants at Mesa these days.

Anyone notice the recent standing bid announcement. 55 captain upgrades over the next six months. Couple this with the first sentence in the perfect attendance email we received on Oct 31st and is it a pseudo pre announcement of more airplanes or is it a way to possibly delay anyone's departure until after the holidays? Rumor has it that there will be an announcement of more airplanes in January.

As the announcement stands, 55 upgrades over six months seems unremarkable in that I would guess it barely covers attrition. I took the email and the fact that they even mentioned forecast upgrades as a way to entice people to stay. As if to say, "dont leave! Look we are still upgrading".
I would however say that the sales pitch to new hires has for the past three years been quick upgrades so the only way they could possibly continue to hire is by a) lying or b) bring on new aircraft.
It would seem that they have plans for additional growth since the tone of the last conference call was very much stay the course.
