Yes. It's usually a rant about either the company or the FAs, sometimes accompanied with artwork that let's just say isn't very tasteful

It's all we really have for morale over here...

I thought it was a certain Captain Happy who scoffed at the thought of people writing messages and carried around a black sharpie to mark out the fun?

Honestly, it's a trickle of pilot coming in. Not nearly enough to take away our advantage...this alone will force the company to finally negotiate a new contract. Will it be good enough for the pilots, we'll see.
I think the pilots only want to be informed of a new, improved contract with more money

Of course they are hiring. The only thing that is going to get mgmt to make any concessions on their part is if the issue is crippling. Currently, they say publicly there are no problems with staffing. We all know that is not true, however, they are getting by and our performance hasn't taken a hit.

There is something fundamentally wrong with how management approaches dealing with the pilot group. The contract has been amenable for a very long time now. We all know we have leverage, yet mgmt hasn't shown their cards. Like I said, we need to continue to do our part to educate any potential candidates on the real problems we are facing. To start, a toxic relationship with mgmt.

We are canceling few flights due to staffing right now. Look at what happened to Republic. It took some real operational issues to ge mgmt to come around. We are not there yet.

Pretty sure it says Wells Fargo.
How's that for job security as JO likes to say?

Very true. And, while offering 30K to new hires, mgt continues to show its "appreciation" to the rest of us with occasional $50 on-time bonuses, wrist watches, commuter hotels, etc. ANYTHING other than paying us a fair and reasonable wage. 'No, just keep throwing trinkets out to the masses ... that'll quiet them down.' I think JO and company have no idea of how pi$$ed off we're getting. I hope all flight crewmembers avoid those appreciation parties. Maybe mgt will begin to get the message when they're the only ones to show up. They can all go around patting each other on the back ...

To be fair. Pretty much every aircraft at United, American, Delta, Southwest, etc has the same thing. Different banks. But same thing
