When Mesa shrinks, yes you will be downgraded. When the 700 contract in Dulles goes away, where do you think those super senior people are going? The only questions you should have are, "where am I going next and when?"

If it's anything like the past. Expect IAD to close for 91 days then reopen as a 175 base.

On CBS Radio about an hour ago, they gave the name of the 38-year old pilot..FWIW.

To add a little credence to the Hawaii rumor....I've heard from a friend in the training department that about 8 of the 700's would go to Hawaii and the rest would end up flying out of DFW and PHX on the AA side. UA wants to be 100% Ejet.

8 700s to Hawaii for a UAL codeshare/regional interisland flying. Guessing they will keep UAL paint job/will be UAL tickets. (Not Go! round two....)

Mainland 700s will be replaced with more 175s. There are still somewhere around 20 more 76 seaters until UAL is scoped out.

No joke kids.
