Yikes, you're right. The upgrade boat is quickly sailing away into the horizon.

Well, seeing as the average seniority to hold EJet CA is ~18-20+ months, and that this vacancy had no CRJ CA slots in any base (which is the only place anyone was getting "really fast" upgrades), then one would be justified in stating that the upgrade train has slowed

Whether the upgrade gravy train will speed up again or continue slowing is anyone's guess

Need to verify that he was a Freedom A lister and if the interview is a true event and not a lie

Anyone?
This is what he has told me "Hey, Gents there is a lot of misinformation out there on what really went down at Freedom.**Not that I need to defend or explain myself but, I should not be on that list or any list for that matter.**I was hired off the street.**I did not cross a picket line, I did not try to circumvent seniority and the fact of the matter the only people I knew at Mesa were over there.**I called the local Mesa ALPA leadership and the current MEC Chair stated not to worry about it its not gonna happen etc.**When I interviewed it was along side US Airways furloughs who had there at their associations and supposedly nationals blessing.**I would be happy to discuss what went down since I was there with anyone who feel like its an issue.**I would hate for some misunderstanding or erroneous list cost me the job of a lifetime."

I know John and he would be happy to discuss this with you offline if you have any questions. Feel free to email him... [email protected]

Great guy, I don't think he was with the Freedom A you are thinking as he wasn't even on property when that happened.

1. I wouldn't post email addresses in the open.
2. He is from freedom a but yes there's a big difference. There's those on property who actively chose to go over there. Then there were those hired in who knew nothing about it and didn't have a choice on which side to go as a new hire. This included MAPD pilots who REALLY didn't have a choice. He falls into the new hire non-sellout bunch.

I was here for all of it as an fo. I had a classmate who not only magically became a captain but also an instructor WAY ahead of seniority. Thats the appitimy of Freedom A listers. JG does not fit that label.

Hey Gents, I got a call from a friend regarding the message board. I managed to get my account turned back on after many inactive years. So, If anyone has specific questions for me I will respond via email or messaging. I appreciate the positive comments so far and hope that I have proved myself as a pilots, pilot over the years. Cheers and good luck to everyone out there in your future endeavors.

Such absolute bullcrap that a good man gets unfairly tagged and could ruin the chance for the job he wants. This idiotic mentality needs to be done away with. If some random Fed Ex person is angry about something, they should go worry about those white unmarked airplanes on their ramps.

Sounds like an innocent man, but I'm glad the list isn't altogether forgotten and still following those guilty. That being said, yeah, the only thing worse than those on the list is somebody being put on the list erroneously.

It's disappointing some of the names you see on it...

Theres one check airman on that list that I've learned a great deal from, that I enjoy flying with. Guess that's all I will say about it.
