I hear he's getting much more aggressive. We'll all know fairly shortly the MEC plans.
I don't think he plans to ever leave. I would think that's a good thing.
We'll see on him, but I have hopes for our union. They deal with a tough company that is incredibly cheap.

Does he pick up open time? I have no idea?

[QUOTE=Darant;2227566] There are more effective ways to get things done that don't affect the integrity of the pilot group.
Take this to heart. We are probably playing a game for a future legal proceeding. The results of that proceeding will most likely play to the pilot groups benefit. Anything done collectively that smacks of dishonest or illegal activity will be to our detriment and will be used against us to either limit gains or delay the process.
The argument and market forces are on our side.

But is "flow" to Frontier even something to be excited about? An FO at at one of the WOs will make double the starting pay of a Frontier FO. And if you go to Endeavor you would make more than your first 2 years as a Frontier FO. Not to mention AAG has publically stated they want to reduce the flying done by their non-WO partners and increase their WO flying and the number of flows.

Regardless, our pilots are mad and we ARE going to do something about it.

The only market force that matters is the pilot group. As long as pilots are continuing to show up to NH classes and finish training then pay and QOL will stay the same. Look at Endeavor, RAH, and the WOs where they were all bleeding pilots and then pay increased to stop the bleeding.
I know lots of pilots chose MESA because the quick upgrade or the base is convenient. But if your pilot group wants to see changes then it has to jump ship and go to an LCC or a different regional. When pilots start leaving and NH classes start drying up then the company will start making some moves.
This whole not picking up OT isn't going to work because someone else will tend to pick it up. And who are you really hurting? It might feel good to know a flight got canceled because they couldn't staff it but it would feel a whole lot better to give them your two weeks and then cash a 20k check.
Sorry I got bored on my companies thread and figured I'd see what's going on in here.
