Where is that in the contract? I can't find that rule in the current contract or new TA.

The operative language is in the back of the CBA in the grievance settlements.

They don't want to rock the boat because with that kind of longevity and years remaining to retirement, they are better off sticking it out here until the end and taking whatever they can get in the process.

Also I've been accused of having a bad attitude by some of these guys because I think we should get paid more and see things like min day pay and better work rules spelled out in our contract. I always get the same "you should just be happy to be here flying a large regional jet" type response. Now I could be wrong but I feel that most of these types will be voting yes.

Don't worry you aren't alone. I'm here in IAH getting the same reputation. I came from another airline and I would rather see this place go away than sell out.

Sometimes it is difficult to get an accurate pulse of how an airlines pilot group is feeling these days. What grade would be an honest appraisal of the Mesa pilot group as a whole? B? D?

In the past year it seems a bit manic on the forums.

Thanks for your honest appraisal.

It's a "no" from most I've talked to. The only "yes's" have come from people heavily involved with the union (shocker).

Most on here (and on the line) will tell you Mesa has (mostly) a good pilot group, we don't (currently) get messed with by the company a whole lot (have before in years past though), and the group in the training department is mostly laid back. We don't have a lot of infighting, not too many DBs or awkward dudes which make 4 days less enjoyable, and people rarely bad mouth (from outside or inside) our pilot group, they only badmouth our company because of past practices and our current low paying contract and equally bad TA. But the pilot group is good.

I'm a CA in IAH and I don't know of anyone who finds this TA as anything short of laughable, let alone even considering a Yes vote.
