And contrary to popular opinion, the "FNGs" aren't the ones you have to worry about voting yes en mass on this horrid piece of work. It's the older crowd, the guys/gals who have been here for 20+ years and can't leave, who will try to push this POS through. Any newer FO could bail and not be any worse off working anywhere else in this industry.
Wrong. Nothing in this TA for senior or junior pilots. But, the pilots that will be swayed by the slick willy type salesmanship will be the junior pilots.

I find the junior guys are much more well read on the state of the industry and therefore have some context from which to judge how poor this TA is. Some senior guys only seem to have knowledge relating to past MAG contracts. Ask them about what's going on at Republic and they have no idea. Still, the "no" consensus is strong among every demographic.

Don't want to beat this dead TA horse to death, but for those of you not on property before the 117 rules went into effect, Flica used to process simple trip adds/drops/swaps and reserve swaps automatically, in the order in which they were received. No humans--no BS fiddling with the numbers/playing favorites--seamless, automatic, and basically instantaneous (unless the system had a stack of previously-submitted requests for the same trips/days to process). The only thing the humans got to fiddle with were requests where you were trying to split/combine pairings.

When the 117 rules went into effect, all of that went out the door--the company began manually processing everything. Even stuff that a computer should be doing--like picking up a daytrip in the middle of 7 days off, or swapping out of a heavily-staffed reserve day into an extremely short-staffed one. Nothing has been done to address this concessionary practice, and this TA simply enshrines that concession (letting humans process all flica requests).

One more thing that basically costs nothing to fix, but we gave up control of flica to the company for free. Zero language putting a deadline on them to restore our pre-117 level of control to flica.

I mean, at least promise us some jets or profit-sharing if you want us to vote on this

Get your notice in now. They have not gone after anyone that I know. If you wait too long they just might start.
