Thanks for the info guys. I was mistakenly under the impression if one was hired on the 175 in June 2014 with no 121 experience they could upgrade within a year and maybe be that May 2014 hire who is junior on the 175.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Here is the excerpt: ...has 1,000 hours as second in command in operations under this part, pilot in command in operations under §91.1053(a)(2)(i) of this chapter, pilot in command in operations under §135.243(a)(1) of this chapter, or any combination thereof. For those pilots who are employed as pilot in command in part 121 operations on July 31, 2013, compliance with the requirements of this paragraph (a)(3) is not required.
So yours counts only if it falls under 135.243/a/1. And no deviations from that count. That was a recent big issue when people thought their time counted and it didn't. Oops.

There are a lot of confused people, especially at Mesa, about what time counts towards 121 captain eligibility. Its governed by 121.436

Note, 135 scheduled passenger ops is a pretty rare thing. Sea tac is one, Rise aviation is a new one. Pretty rare stuff. Be careful.
