Thats all very well, when our new hire classes are not getting filled, and our flights start to get cancelled due to lack of pilots, JO will put more on the table

Playing devils advocate here... What if RAH wanted to go bankrupt? As others have eluded to, this whole thing parallels Pinnacle. Rah even hired the same firm that engineered Pinnacles demise. Just saying... Give the pilots what they want, go into bankruptcy, shed all the unprofitable stuff, reset the pay, downsize to manageable size.
I'm on probation and can't vote but this TA does affect me. I just can't understand how there's "no money left" yet competitors working around the same "thin margins" can pay their crews so much more than our operation and yet we still have the cash to buy all those new from the factory CRJs. There's still so much that can be done that wouldn't cost the company money like more efficient crew scheduling and available open time.

When your both at a mainline, and in the same cockpit, neither one of you are going to give a rats ass about which regional you came from.

No, but it's glaringly obvious that you've sold your soul to APC with the amount of vitriol and tasteless banter you post on here. You of all people hold zero weight when it comes to lecturing other pilots about getting hired at the majors. Nobody is going to care that you did your time in the Mormon Air Force anyway

1) We don't have more airplanes announced very soon
and/or
2) We don't achieve Republic/Compass FO payrates
It's simply econ 101--if the expectation of upgrade in the near future (i.e. Captain pay) declines, their decision focuses in on FO payrates. It's kind of an obvious A vs. B decision for FOs.

Anecdotally, 80+% of the FOs I have flown with recently will be gone by this time next year if:
1) We don't have more airplanes announced very soon
and/or
2) We don't achieve Republic/Compass FO payrates
