It's about to get real at Mesa with all other regionals starting FOs near the top of our pay scale and no more fast upgrades. Management must have a batch of new planes on the way. It will be interesting either way.

Has anyone at mesa heard about a fist fight between 2 Mesa Captains in DFW at gate B46? supposedly, Mesa lost a contract with AA starting in Sep. bunch of 900 flying up for grabs.

I heard next month was going to be slower, heard nothing about a fist fight... Lost a contract? Would explain why CT has gone crazy rescheduling people in an attempt to preserve d0 performance. I feel like I am inside of a blender...

FWIW....We are losing the LAX flying in September. Obviously this will have a huge impact on PHX. Not sure how it will affect DFW.

SKW's 4 PHX CRJ-900s are moving to the delta system soon. Someone has to pick up that flying. Pure speculation and rumor (perfect for APC), but that could be why they are opening 18 FO slots in PHX in October. That is a lot, considering we have a lot of idle reserves in PHX this month and reduced flying next month. Also, SKW's AA -200 flying out of LAX is going away soon. Hoping the merger/new route structure routes those pax needing to make connections through PHX instead. That would potentially also boost the PHX flying.
No one who posts on here truly knows the restructuring route plan with the merger though. Sure would be nice for JO to give some insight to each base's future as he knows it.
