Let me remind You Marcin was in charge when 90% of this was negotiated.

Make no doubt about it, Marcin is very pro company. He is very smart, knows his stuff, a good stick and all that, but he does what is best for himself above all else. Do your own homework, ask around, nothing is as it seems.

Using 2nd year FO, it's 1%/yr. That's 3% over 5 years (30/30.91=3% difference).

There are few 9 year FO's hear and is just basically furlough protection, a 9 year FO gets a 9.5% increase on signing of the contract.

Not defending it, just putting it out there.

If these new rates truly represent a 9.5% raise for a 9 year FO that is scary. A 2nd year AWAC FO makes more than that. Please realize you guys are worth way more than the garbage TA sitting in front of you.

Don't accept anything less than:

-min 12 days off line holders and reserve
-duty/trip rigs
-full cancellation pay leg-by-leg
-either no junior manning or all pay on a day off is paid at 200% with another paid day off
-at least 9% 401k contribution from company.
-cap health insurance premiums at 25%
-there's too many things to list. Basically wait to see the bullet points for AWACS TA, and shoot for higher than that.

If we can't improve our careers at a time when they can't recruit pilots because of how awful the pay is, what does that say about us. Don't accept less than your worth, or don't complain if you do. You'd only have yourselves to blame at that point. Balls in your court now.

$37.96 to $40.00 is a ~5% increase. And for an 8-year FO it's still a 1% increase. Also, why is anybody a 9-year FO here and why should anybody care about them?

Republic mgmt will be making their final and best offer to their pilots on Thursday. This is gonna be interesting. Mesa mgmt better pay attention to this.

Republic Airways puts it all on table at big labor summit with carrier's pilots - Chicago Business Journal
So if their "final and best" still isn't good enough then what happens? The company shuts the doors?
