Seems to always be dfw. Have they returned to the horrors of last summer, or did it never get better?

I personally saw the lounge and talked to their flight attendants in it. It is right off the small courtyard to your left when you at checking in. It had a huge TV, leather couches and a full size fridge for all of Spirit's FA's food. Only for their FA's at this hotel. It doesn't meet their Pilot's hotel language. Call the front desk and ask Bridgette or any of them, I am sure they will tell you. This is a new hotel for their FA's.

Other airlines have the same domiciles, that pay more, have higher quality of life, and maybe upgrade times almost as quick as Mesa.
It's really too bad, once you get to a certain point at Mesa, it is an extremely laid back environment that is really easy to get comfortable in, the training department is top notch that work their butt off to help those that struggle, and we NEVER hear from the company or do carpet dances for stupid stuff. You couldn't ask for a better culture in that regard. Just too bad they ruined an opportunity to prevent this back in the last TA, if they would have just made it industry average, or top 1/3rd, and increased the QOL / work rules for reserve.

Every summer has an uptick in lines that put pressure on everyone. I don't care about that, I am looking at the bigger picture, the amount of people leaving, and the amount of people coming in. I am looking at how competitive Mesa is right now, which is to say they are not. Mesa offers us up to 10,000$ per recommendation, I don't know of anyone who in good conscious as tried to get their friends to come here. I helped many of my friends come to Mesa, but that was back when they were competitive and it made sense. Now the majority only come to Mesa if they failed out of training elsewhere or their other option is Go-Jet.

I was talking about ATL as quoted in my first post. Your post is correct. No idea what he is talking about. ATL never had Skywest or snacks for Mesa, but they did have a breakfast which 75% of our crews didn't leave a tip for.

I think he is refering to Midland TX. Another crew favorite hotel that we are loosing in the near future.
The hotel there had a nice aircrew lounge located off the lobby for Mesa, Skywest, and Expressjet crews. There wasn't many good food choices nearby, so the hotel had free snacks, sodas, and even beer until recently.

There's an H.E.B. Grocery Superstore right behind the hotel. Not to mention potbellys, tilted kilt as well as Japanese. The van would take us anywhere in town if you were nice. The ball park also had concessions and the hotel would throw in tix occasionally.
The beer well...you work for Mesa and Mesa management doesn't even have to ruin that one. Mesa quality control let you down on that end. Have you seen the way these flight attendants get around the sauce after work? They'd borderline bottle hooch from some free sh*t somebody threw away with a juice pack if needed. They'd do all that just to get a buzz. Then they'd run outside bum cigarette before re-runs of Kardashians and real housewives bleeps them to sleep. Imagine these people around "free" anything.
Mesa was not paying the bill at this property either, FYI. This was confirmed by hotel staff. Mesa had not paid the bill for a couple months. The hotel felt bad doing it, but as a result they started to cut freebies in the lounge.

I was under the impression that Mesa pays a flat fee to API who then assigns us hotels. I thought API paid the hotel bills.
