We're losing the ATL hotel and the MAF hotel--thats the last straw for me personally--it's time to declare war on this horrible downward spiral in the hotel budget, folks.

Refuse your hotel--refuse it. Follow the actual regs, reset your 8-hour uninterrupted rest anytime anything wakes you up, and refuse any and all hotels with:

1) Mold/dirty or stained floors

2) Any bugs of any kind (Zika virus is real and making its way northward this summer/now)

3) Unsafe surroundings

4) Unclean linens, esp when contaminated w other people's bodily fluids

We are now trending towards street-hooker grade hotels here. We will soon be the only single airline left staying in ALL of our hotels (that number is already at 80-90%).

Be firm and clear with tracking--don't budge, don't ask--TELL them "I am not staying here these accommodations are unsuitable move me to another hotel." If they threaten to transfer you to a chief--sure go ahead wake them up. Not your problem JO/KW are putting us in unclean, unsafe conditions. Not your problem.

My desire to stay at Mesa is really closer to my desire of wanting to stay in this profession all together. If a better opportunity comes along, I'm done with aviation.
